Setup Guide

I. Introduction

H5 is an automation tool designed for use with Race War Kingdoms (r)(c), a text-based RPG by
Glitchless. All trademarks and copyrights of Race War Kingdoms (RWK) are
property of Glitchless.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s get to the actual install and configuration of H5.

II. Installing H5

H5 will require you to have a couple components installed, as the download page describes.

Necessary is Windows Installer 3.1 and .NET Framework 3.5. Most users will already have Windows Installer 3.1 on their system, but most do not have .NET 3.5. If this is you, click the “Install” button and the installer will do the rest.

Help! I installed it and I get an error about ShDocVW missing!

Solution: You’ll need a redistributable components file. All that the big words mean is that you will need to download this and install it before you can use H5.

III. Authorization

Tazo Productions/Jrim Software (you’ll see both names used) requires its products to authorize with our server before you can use it. You cannot authorize yourself; this is something we must do for you. See the order page for more information.

IV. Configuration

Now, the fun part! At this point, you should be able to open H5 without error and see a screen with a bright green background featuring text reading “JRIM SOFTWARE”.
If you don’t have H5 opening successfully at this point, you’re getting ahead of yourself – you cannot configure H5 if it doesn’t open or run correctly!

For H5 to function as intended, you must use size 10 chat on your character. This can be accomplished by selecting “Options” from the Actions menu on your character.

Before you can use H5, you need to create ‘profiles’ for your RWK characters. Each of the characters you use H5 must be separately configured.

To create your first profile, go to the File menu and click “New”.

You will see this dialog:

Because this is your first profile, you will click “Create New”. In the future, to load an already existing profile, click “Use Existing” instead.

PLEASE note that before you click “Save”, you must have something entered in every box. Even if you won’t be using the “Automatic Login” feature, you still need a value for the ‘Password’ field entered. If you do not fill out everything, your configuration file will be corrupted and you will need to contact us to walk you through a fix.

I’ll skip the obvious stuff such as username, password, etc. Some things that might not be understood at a first glance:

  • Automatically login – If this box is checked, upon loading a new profile and navigating to your specified server, H5 will fill in the Username and Password boxes and login.
  • Destroy all found items – ALL found items will be destroyed.
  • Skip submitting monster - For use when ‘slow vamping’. Instead of hitting “Submit” as would be necessary
if you were killing monsters over and over, it will use the monster you already are in battle with and not attempt to
    re-submit.
  • Stop botting after – If this box is checked, you MUST select an option below it. The options below are self-explanitory.

Again, make sure you have a value for EVERY value entered – this applies to the “Delays” tab, too.

All delays are measured in milliseconds (ms). They will fluctuate for everyone based on latency and haste so they must be configured by each user individually.

You’ll have to experiment to figure out what delays are good for you. I recommend setting them all to 3000 and going from there (you should be going down from 3000).

An explanation of what each delay value means:

  • Random Delay – This determines how many seconds H5 will wait, from 1 to the vlaue entered, before performing
an action. It is meant to seem more human and less robot-like by adding a randomized delay to all of your actions. For
example, if you enter ’100′ for Random delay (this is the recommended value), H5 will wait anywhere from 1 to 100 additional
milliseconds more than your entered value.
  • Stat train – The amount of time H5 will wait after training into a stat.
  • Fight – The amount of time to wait after clicking the configured fight action.
  • Submit – Amount of time waited after clicking Fight and before clicking Submit to receive a new mob to kill.
  • Post ash destroy delay – If the ‘Destroy all found items’ option is enabled, this amount of milliseconds will be waited after clicking “Destroy” to get rid of the item.
